Salisbury steaks

1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 pkg onion soup mix
12 oz. au jus gravy
1/2 tsp. thyme

Combine beef with soup mix.  Shape into 4 1/2 inch thick oval patties.  Panfry 2 minutes on each side.  Add au jus and thyme.  Cover and simmer, turning patties once, 6 minutes or until cooked through.
