Crock pot beef stew

This is such a good easy recipe.  I even blended some up and froze in ice cube trays for the baby.  He loves it.  I give it to him with mashed potatoes.  You will want to cut everything into about the same size pieces as the meat.

1.5 pounds stew meat
1 large white potato peeled and chopped into pieces
8 oz. mushrooms cut into pieces
2 carrots, chopped
2 ribs of celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 turnip, chopped
3 cloves of minced garlic
3 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp pepper
3/4 tsp rosemary
1 bay leaf
32 oz beef broth
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. frozen peas

Add everything except the flour and peas into the crock pot.  Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours until meat is tender.  Add cooking liquid into flour and whisk until smooth.  Pour back into crock pot and combine well.  Cook on high for 30 - 45 more minutes.  Add peas then let sit until heated through.  About 5 minutes before serving.

This can be made the night before and just put into the base in the morning.  In fact I think it's good because it give the flavors more time to marinate..
