1 C sugar
1 C water
2 Tbsp cornstarch
3 oz strawberry flavored gelatin
2 pints washed and hulled strawberries halved
1 - 9 in.baked pastry shell, cooled
Bring sugar, water and cornstarch to a boil over medium high heat.
Add gelatin and stir until dissolved.
Cool 15 minutes stirring occasionally and then add strawberries.
Refrigerate about 45 minutes or until it starts to congeal.
Put in pie shell and cool completely.
Top with whipped cream.
